What will my child learn?
Infants
Our infant program is for ages 6 months to 3.5 years. We introduce babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to the water, with the goal to become familiar with the water. Parents/guardians join infants in the water to build confidence through games and songs.
Children
Our children's program is for ages 3.5 to 12 years. Each level progresses student's swimming and safety skills. We cover everything from blowing bubbles and floating, through to gaining confidence underwater, and refining stroke technique.
What feedback do parents get?
Each child is assessed throughout the term, once they have mastered all skills in the level, they will receive a level up certificate. You can chat to an Aquatic Services Officer on pool deck and discuss how your child is tracking. You can also view your child’s swimming progress online. You can view the skills they’re currently working on, the skills they’re working towards for future levels, and their assessment history.
Throughout the term students may receive achievement certificates when they do something great or make significant progress.
