Robyn in a child swimming lesson with a young child and mother

Our incredible Swim Instructor Robyn has been awarded the National Teacher of Infant and Preschool Award and the Jack Hanson Clarke Perpetual Scholarship by AUSTSWIM.

If you've been involved in our Swim School over the last 11 years you will know how well-deserving Robyn is of these awards and how lucky her students are to be taught by her.

She goes above and beyond to ensure her students get the most out of their swimming lessons by;

  • Encouraging inclusive play
  • Tailoring each lesson to individual abilities and needs
  • Demonstrating a high level of patience and understanding
  • Her ability to engage students so they can learn, enjoy and be safe around water.

The list goes on!

Robyn even wrote and illustrated 5 books and produced engaging videos to ensure children were able to still learn and engage with swimming during the COVID-19 pandemic closures. If you haven't seen these already, check out our Wellness Locker.

If you see her around in her fancy rashie, please do congratulate her!
