Changes to fees and charges 2024/25: Yarra Leisure

As part of the 2024/25 annual budget process, Yarra City Council have adopted an increase in fees and charges across its services, including Yarra Leisure, to maintain high standards and keep improving our facilities.
Council adopted the budget with the below changes at a council meeting on Tuesday 18 June.
When will the new fees and charges be introduced?
- Casual programs and services including visit passes: Monday 1 July 2024
- Membership fees: Tuesday 16 July 2024
- Swim School membership fees: Tuesday 16 July 2024
What are the casual prices?
The casual prices listed below are effective from Monday 1 July 2024.

Burnley Golf Course
Memberships to Burnley Golf Course will continue to be paused until all nine holes are fully operational. In the interim, a reduced casual fee will apply until the full nine holes are available.
The fees listed below are effective from Monday 1 July 2024.

2024/25 planned facility improvements
In the adopted budget for 2024/25, Yarra City Council has committed to more than $3 million of improvements to our venues. These facility improvements include:
- Planning and designs for Collingwood Leisure Centre to be the first of our venues to transition from gas to 100% renewable electricity.
- An upgrade of the pool mechanical plant systems as part of the pool equipment renewal program at Collingwood Leisure Centre, Fitzroy Swimming Pool and Richmond Recreation Centre.
- New pool blankets at Collingwood Leisure Centre and Fitzroy Swimming Pool to improve sustainability by reducing heat and water loss overnight.
- New health and fitness equipment including all new gym equipment and group exercise equipment across all three leisure centres.
