Yarra City Council has appointed the contractor for the Burnley Golf Course re-design works.

SJM Turf and Civil were appointed to the project, which will see changes to the location of holes 1, 3, 6 and 7 in order to ensure community safety over the long-term.

The course re-design works began in June and SJM Turf and Civil commenced the reconstruction of the holes and the practice putting/chipping areas on Monday, 11 September.

The works are expected to be completed in the new year, subject to weather conditions.
