Try a Tri course

Monday 26 November 2018 - Saturday 12 January 2019

Our Try a Tri course provides participants with six weeks of training and individualised coaching support to get them race ready. The sessions are suitable for first-time triathletes and those with previous racing experience wanting to improve their performance.

What will I learn?

The course covers all triathlon fundamentals, including:

  • transition skills
  • stroke improvement
  • bike confidence
  • running technique.

What's included?

The course provides a fun and supportive training environment with guidance from experienced triathlon coaches. You will get:

  • 18 coached sessions
  • Yarra Triathlon membership for the duration of the course
  • Race day support and tips
  • Entry to Race 3 of the 2XU Triathlon Series in St Kilda on Sunday 13 January.

Training schedule

The six week course will run from Monday 26 November to Saturday 12 January. Sessions include:

  • Swim - Mondays from 7pm to 8pm at Richmond Recreation Centre
  • Bike - Saturdays from 8.30am to 9.30am at Richmond Boulevard
  • Run - Wednesdays from 7pm to 8pm at George Knott Athletics Track.
