Temporary closure of Burnley Golf Course

Saturday 28 March 2020

Following a recommendation from Golf Australia, based on the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services directive regarding COVID-19, we have temporarily closed the Burnley Golf Course from 9am on Saturday 28 March.

The state government directive prohibits social sports gatherings, and this applies to golf clubs and facilities, which are classified as ‘recreational facilities’ under the directive.

The golf course will now be closed until further notice along with all Yarra’s leisure centres; Richmond Recreation Centre, Fitzroy Swimming Pool, Collingwood Leisure Centre and Collingwood Estate Gym.
