We’ve closed Yarra’s playgrounds and outdoor exercise equipment until further notice to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community.

Playgrounds have been taped to demonstrate to the public that they are not to be used.

You can help reduce the risk of transmitting COVID-19 by not using any public play or exercise equipment, and practicing good hygiene when outdoors. 

Things you can do

• Don’t visit Yarra’s parks and gardens if you’re feeling unwell.
• Wash your hands with soap and / or use hand sanitiser before and after visiting our parks.
• Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a clean tissue, and please don’t spit in public!

We acknowledge that our playgrounds are much-loved by the Yarra community, and apologise for any inconvenience this decision may cause.
