As you may be aware we have identified a slip resistance issue with the flooring in our change rooms near the gym at Richmond Recreation Centre.

We have implemented reasonable short-term solutions to maintain the safety of our patrons while our building contractors have tested and attempted to identify a permanent solution.

Our contractors identified a promising solution which was successful in the all gender change room, prompting the recent closure of the other change room spaces, but unfortunately this solution has not met the required standard for all areas.

We're continuing to work with many experienced and reputable contractors to identify a permanent solution, so we ask for your ongoing patience and understanding during this time.
