Works on the change rooms at Richmond Recreation Centre next to the gym are now complete! The refurbished change rooms will be open for inspection for all members and users of the facility to inspect the changes to all the spaces on Wednesday 28 August from 7.30am. The change rooms will reopen for regular use from 10.30am.

We're extremely satisfied with the outcome, and look forward to sharing the refreshed spaces with you.

To thank you for your patience during the renovation, we are providing free breakfast snacks on Wednesday 28 August between 7.30am and 10.30am.

We will have staff available around the entry to the change rooms to answer your questions and welcome any feedback that you have from 7.30am to 10.30am and 5pm to 7pm from Wednesday 28 August to Tuesday 3 September.

Will access be normal again?

The members entry on Griffiths Street will reopen to members as normal from 12pm on Wednesday 28 August. This entrance will then resume its access for members during the centre's opening hours.

The entry/exit door from pool deck to the gym area will return to a scanned access point. You will need your membership RFID band or key fob to operate the doors.

How do I find out more information?

The works begun on Tuesday 23 April and involved gutting the existing change rooms, including a large portion of the existing floor and building new male, female, accessible and all gender change rooms.
