Fitzroy's Group Fitness studio and Occasional Care facility will be closed to the public from Monday 24 September to Wednesday 31 October for upgrade works.

Upgrades to the space will include:

• refurbishments to the studio interior
• replacement of stage, floor covering, doors, ceiling and lighting
• installation of a new temperature control system and ventilation 
• relocation of the emergency exit
• storage improvements.

Group fitness classes

During the works, classes in the group fitness studio will not run. Pilates sessions and extra Small Group Training sessions will run in the gym and 10 additional group fitness sessions will run at Collingwood Leisure Center as per the following timetable:

Occasional Care services

The Occasional Care facility at Fitzroy Swimming Pool will remain closed during the works. Patrons wishing to access Yarra Leisure's occasional care services are encouraged to do so at Collingwood Leisure Centre or Richmond Recreation Centre. The booking process will remain the same at both locations
