Due to urgent and unscheduled maintenance, Richmond Recreation Centre’s 50 metre pool is currently closed. The pool will reopen to the public at 1pm on Thursday 7 June.

We apologise for any inconvenience the pool closure may cause.

The learn to swim pool, toddler pool, spa, sauna, and steam areas remain open.

A number of programs and services will be affected by the pool closure, please see details below.

Learn to swim lessons

Swimming lessons held in the main pool scheduled for Wednesday 6 June have been cancelled. All affected participants will receive a credit for the missed lesson.

Level 1 and 2 classes conducted in the learn to swim pool will go ahead as scheduled.

Learn to swim lessons will resume as normal on Thursday 7 June.

Aqua and Deep Water Running group exercise sessions

The 6:15am Deep Water Running and the 10:30am Aqua group exercise sessions on Thursday 7 June have been cancelled.

Our regular Aqua group exercise timetable will resume on Friday 8 June.

Yarra Triathlon – Richmond Swim Squad session

The 6am Swim Squad session on Thursday 7 June has been relocated to Fitzroy Swimming Pool. 

All other Yarra Triathlon sessions will run as scheduled.
