The spa and sauna at Collingwood Leisure Centre, will be out of service from Monday 19 March to Thursday 29 March inclusive.

This is to allow Council’s Building Assets Contractors to undertake building maintenance works in that area.

Unfortunately the works cannot proceed safely whilst patrons are using the spa or sauna.

The works are required due to heavy condensation and high humidity in the area which has caused a rapid decline of the plaster walls and paint finishes.

The opportunity has been taken to replace plaster with a high density product that will provide a superior life span and quality finish.

Other works will include replacement of roof sheeting and re-glazing of the windows.

We apologise for the inconvenience that the works may incur, but encourage you to try our alternate spa and sauna facilities at Fitzroy Swimming Pool or Richmond Recreation Centre.

We anticipate that the spa and sauna at Collingwood will be again open to the public following the Good Friday public holiday on 30 March.
