We’re developing two key strategies that will guide our work over the next six years to support older people (50+) and people with a disability – including their families and carers – to live well.

We’re asking people who live, work and visit Yarra to share their views to help us understand the role Council can play in supporting residents to be active and included in their community.

We’re committed to creating an accessible and inclusive community for all people, of all ages and abilities.

We provide a range of services to support residents to live full and healthy lives, including home maintenance, delivered meals and fitness programs at our leisure centres. We also advocate for the interests of our community across a range of issues.

We want to know what we should start doing, keep doing, or do more of to best meet the needs of our community.

Feedback will be used to inform Council’s Draft Active and Healthy Ageing Strategy 2018 – 2024 and Draft Access and Inclusion Strategy 2018 – 2024.
